At Phaltronshyxau, we take great pride in our gift wrapping services and strive to ensure every customer is completely satisfied with their order. We understand that sometimes situations arise, and we have established this Return Policy to address such circumstances fairly and transparently.
This policy applies to all gift wrapping services, custom gift tags, and related products purchased through our physical location or website. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order with us.
Service Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with your gift wrapping for any reason, please notify us immediately upon pickup or within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include:
- Re-wrapping the item at no additional charge
- Partial refund for specific elements that did not meet expectations
- Full refund in cases where we are unable to meet the agreed specifications
- Store credit for future services
To request a resolution, please contact us with your order number, photos of the wrapping (if applicable), and a description of your concerns.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Orders: You may cancel your order up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time and receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup will incur a 50% cancellation fee to cover materials and labor already invested.
Custom Orders: Custom orders, including personalized gift tags, special paper orders, and unique embellishments, cannot be cancelled once work has begun. If you need to cancel a custom order before work begins, please contact us as soon as possible.
Rush Orders: Rush orders (same-day or next-day service) are non-refundable once accepted. This policy is in place because rush orders require us to prioritize your work above other scheduled orders.
Refund Process
When a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please note:
- Credit card refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer
- Cash payments will be refunded in cash at our location
- Store credit never expires and can be used for any service we offer
We will notify you by email or phone once your refund has been processed.
Damaged Items
While we take utmost care in wrapping your gifts, we cannot be held responsible for damage to wrapped items that occurs after pickup. We recommend:
- Inspecting your wrapped packages before leaving our location
- Transporting wrapped items carefully in your vehicle
- Storing wrapped gifts in a dry, temperature-controlled environment
- Avoiding stacking heavy items on top of wrapped presents
If you notice any damage to the wrapping before leaving our location, please bring it to our attention immediately so we can address the issue.
Lost or Stolen Items
Phaltronshyxau is not responsible for items lost or stolen after they leave our premises. We recommend keeping receipts for valuable items that you bring to us for wrapping. While your items are in our possession, they are stored securely and handled with care.
Material Quality Concerns
We use high-quality materials for all our wrapping services. If you have concerns about the quality of materials used, please let us know at the time of order placement. We can provide information about our suppliers and material specifications.
If a material defect is discovered after wrapping (such as a flaw in the paper or ribbon), we will re-wrap your item at no charge with replacement materials of equal or higher quality.
Gift Tag Returns
Pre-made Tags: Unused pre-made gift tags in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
Custom Calligraphy Tags: Custom calligraphy tags are made specifically for your order and cannot be returned unless there is an error on our part (such as misspelling or incorrect information). Please review your order confirmation carefully before we begin work.
Corporate and Bulk Orders
Special terms may apply to corporate and bulk orders. These terms will be outlined in your service agreement or quote. Generally:
- Deposits on large orders are non-refundable once materials have been ordered
- Changes to bulk orders may incur additional fees
- Delivery schedules for large orders are firm, and delays caused by the client may affect completion
Please discuss any concerns about our bulk order policies before placing your order.
Exceptions
This return policy does not apply in the following situations:
- Changes in personal preference after services have been rendered
- Damage caused by customer handling or improper storage
- Delays caused by incomplete information provided by the customer
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, extreme weather, etc.)
How to Request a Return or Refund
To initiate a return or refund request, please follow these steps:
- Contact us within the applicable timeframe (24 hours for service issues, 14 days for unused materials)
- Provide your order number and receipt
- Describe the issue or reason for the return
- Include photos if relevant to your request
- Bring items to our location if a physical inspection is needed
Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our resolution of your return or refund request, please ask to speak with a manager. We are committed to finding a fair solution for every customer. In rare cases where a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be handled through mediation or small claims court in Cook County, Illinois.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The policy in effect at the time of your order will apply to that specific order.
